What our customers say
Frankly I can’t tell you how helpful this is / has been for me. My husband is 92, quite a lot older than me. Basically for the last six months, it’s made it possible for me to regularly go away as Maggie has stayed at night and come in once earlier. What I like is how respectful and thoughtful - and professional - she is in working out with me and Peter what he needs. This personal touch and careful attention to risk - she was great when he suddenly became ill and emergency help was needed. I’ve had Maggie’s help herself and am confident of her careful supervision if she provides help from others

Wendell ParkMy wife, who is in a wheelchair with severe arthritis, receives and excellent standard of care from Maggie and her co-workers. We were using an alternative supplier until recently and switched to Maggie after an assessment of what she had to offer as were were dissatisfied with the consistency and quality of the previous company. We now have the benefit of regular, timed, visits and far better attention to my wife's needs which involve washing and dressing in the morning and a general check in the evening. I have no hesitation in recommending her company as a supplier of care in the home

Bedford Park, London W4Maggie was a literal angel sent to us. My stepdad was in his final days of terminal cancer and it was becoming harder and harder to bathe him, etc. So we hired Maggie, who was lovely from the start. We felt such a positive strong energy from her, we knew we had made the right decision straight away. In the end, Maggie was the one next to Pito (my stepdad) as he passed away, we feel like he was just waiting for us to not be home so he could finally rest. Maggie was incredible during the entire situation and we are forever grateful to her and her beautiful heart for everything.

West LondonMaggie is a god-send. We requested a caregiver very last minute through Bark for my mom who was traveling to London from the US and her care had abruptly fallen through. Maggie showed up the very next morning and continued to show up twice a day for the next 6 days and took fantastic care of my Mom. She is very friendly and excellent at her job. Our trip would not have been the same without her. Thank you so much Maggie!!
I would like to thank Maggie’s Care and especially the small business owner Maggie for her professional understanding, pleasant efficiency and her human focus on getting the ‘right fit’ even though—or perhaps especially because—it was a temporary job for the carer. As well, I commend Maggie’s kind concern for us, her practically 24x7 responsiveness and immense patience as I had to chop and change and keep adding hours due to reasons beyond my control. We worked late into the night with scheduling and I could give her no more than a night’s notice at times and typically only 24-48 hours advance planning! After having lived there for decades not needing care, I was visiting London for a month and urgently needed 3 weeks of daytime care and company for my husband who now suffers from dementia. I posted on Bark.com (Thank you, Bark.com) and Maggie’s Care was among the first to call and come to meet with me and my husband. I appreciated that instead of asking me to fill a long online form or speak about prices, Maggie understood my urgency came in person on a weekend, asked a list of relevant questions and took detailed notes. There was only a brief risk assessment for me to sign off on. (We did not require certified or skilled nursing and no medications had to be administered by the carer.) When the first person she assigned to us was not compatible (he was too quiet and shy to be effective), Maggie quickly brought to meet my husband and me —again on a weekend, it turns out!—a spirited, pleasant, experienced young man, Taiwo. (I must note here that both carers came from long distances but were always on or ahead of their start times!) Taiwo was quickly able to befriend, enthuse and gain the trust of my husband to take long daily walks in Regent’s Park and go on bus rides, and as well for my husband to allow him to oversee or help with my husband’s ADLs. Despite the downs of my husband’s moods and temper, which did come about occasionally, the carer delivered with persuasive skills, letting go and distraction strategies—as demanded by dementia. Importantly, Maggie seemed to be briefed on all the goings on so it was easy for me to debrief her instead of the carer in my husband’s presence. If things haven’t changed too much at my end, I would certainly reach out to Maggie’s Care for our next visit to London
